The LEAD Program is a one week education and prevention program about drugs and alcohol. It is held several times a year, and is taught by volunteers from the recovery community.
Teachers give basic information about addiction and its affects on families.
The volunteers spend an hour each day of the week talking with middle school students about the effects of drugs and alcohol on individuals and families. Pre and post tests/ evaluations are done to see what students learned during the process.
